Maya Valeria Barrett (b.2002) is a Norwegian - Canadian figurative painter

She focuses on poetry, emotions, movement and relations in her work. She has studied the craft through apprenticeships with painters, the latest being Odd Nerdrum, which she periodically studied with between 2022-2024.

In 2024 she moved to Florence to continue her journey through independent studies with colleagues, and is now active in the cultural scene in Vienna and Florence.
